PD Care: Coping, Advocating, Relating and Engaging for Patients

If you are diagnosed with Parkinson’s and feel like you need a deeper understanding about the disease and what you can do to manage it and maintain a quality of life then this class is for you. PD CARE is a patient self-management training and support program for those diagnosed with PD who want to know what they can do to manage symptoms and fight back at the disease all while living the highest quality of life possible. PD CARE address symptoms and treatments, as well as common concerns of how to cope with feelings, advocate for yourself, maintain healthy relationships and staying engaged in your life and community.

This class is held over three successive days and covers different topics each day. The class series will be on Tuesday, March 24, Wednesday, March 25 and Thursday, March 26 from 5:00-7:30 pm at the Center for Health and Wellbeing, 2005 Mizell Avenue, Winter Park.
