Transportation Resources


Access Lynx

ACCESS LYNX is a shared ride door-to-door transportation service. The ACCESS LYNX program provides service for eligible individuals who are not able to use the regular fixed route bus service because of a disability or other limitations.

Comfort Ride

Our priority revolves around the fact that all disabled individuals living within and outside Orlando can now request for disability transportation services to any place of their chosen. If you are planning a trip such as a visit to the doctor, or to the test lab or rehab center, our services and team of expert drivers will be on the ground to ensure you have the best trip ever.

Short trips to the hairdresser or barber, the grocery store or market, visits to family and friends, getting to lectures or religious services, everything is also covered by our services at ComfortRide.

Non-Emergency Transportation Services

Medicaid reimburses for medically necessary non-emergency transportation services for a Medicaid eligible recipient and a personal care attendant or escort, if required, who have no other means of transportation available to any Medicaid compensable service.

This service is one of the minimum covered services for all Managed Medical Assistance, Long-Term Care and Comprehensive Long-Term Care plans serving Medicaid enrollees.

Veterans Transportation Service (VTS)

Offered by Veterans Health Administration (VHA) - Orlando VA Medical Center

The Veterans Transportation Service (VTS) provides safe and reliable transportation to Veterans who require assistance traveling to and from VA health care facilities and authorized non-VA health care appointments.

Veterans who are eligible for VA health care benefits and have a VA-authorized appointment are eligible for transportation through the VTS program based on the availability and guidelines in place at their local facility. Each local VA authorized facility has ridership guidelines based on their capabilities.

 

Help Net Charity, Inc. (HNC, INC) provides transportation services for low-income elderly, HIV positive individuals, and disabled adults in Orange, Seminole, Osceola and Lake Counties.
